Bind it All tool project....

So, I got this new cool scrapbook tool and tried it out today! It's called the Bind it All and I knew I would get a ton of use out of it with scrapping and homeschooling. What a way to bind all the kids projects together!! Here is a picture of this new, handy dandy tool. It's so easy to use right out of the box.
We went to the Childrens Museum on Saturday so I put a book together using some chipboard and a paper pack I bought a long time ago at Target! It turned out so cute so I can see lots of new projects in my future :) Here is the cover and the first page! I ended up with about 16 pages. Love it!!
Have a blessed day!

A beautiful weather week....

Spring is definately in the air! The high today is supposed to be 80! WOW! The forecast for the week is 78-80 degrees. I love this weather. Summer is definately my favorite time of the year. I'm looking forward to planting a garden again this year. We love veggies and salads so it's fun to eat things we have grown. This weekend I fixed all the salad fixins and we've been munching on lots of green things all weekend. I'm fortunate that my family loves salads!
Here are a few of our favorite toppings...shredded green leaf lettuce, brocolli, cauliflower, cucumber, hard boiled eggs, carrots and green peppers! Oh and celery on the side and just for a snack too. Other things we like but didn't have on hand were tomatoes and onions. The boys will put shredded cheese on theirs!

I have this really cool machine that
shredds stuff up for me so it makes this job much faster. It's called the Hamilton Beach Change-a-Bowl slicer/shredder! I think that's what I'll have for lunch today too...I nice big salad.

And, speaking of green things....just look at how greener the grass is from when I blogged about it last week! Have a blessed day!

The 2nd day of Spring

Here is today's challenge from 2Peas in a Bucket

Challenge: Today is the 2nd day of spring, officially, What have you done, so far to officially welcome in the new season????
It's a rainy day here in my part of the US...It's near 55 degrees and Spring is definately coming. The buds on my Magnolia tree are coming on strong...

This is one of my favorite trees in our yard. It always blooms in April and its so beautiful. I love seeing the buds because I know warm weather is coming soon.

The grass is also starting to green up! I love seeing that too...we'll be mowing soon which means the wonderful smell of fresh cut grass, which I also love!
Since it is so rainy, I think I'll make chocolate chip cookies and take it easy with the family!!

Have a blessed day!

A new scrapping tool for me!

My new Wishblade arrived and it is such a fun tool! It's pretty amazing at what it can do and I'm so anxious to learn all there is to learn about this thing.

Already, I've made my name, welded together for a scrapbook page

And then I did this silouhette of my son's profile. It needs some tweaking, but this was my first try at it. It's so fun and I can see endless possibilities for my scrapbooking!

Have a blessed day!!
